Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in Atlanta, GA. In this fast-paced intermediate care setting, you will monitor patients transitioning from ICU to lower acuity units and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

You’ll participate in rounds, educate patients and families, and support discharge planning. The ideal candidate has recent PCU/IMC experience, active RN license, and current BLS/ACLS

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license.
• Recent PCU/IMC/Stepdown experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (facility-specific requirements may apply).
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients requiring close monitoring and specialized interventions.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and perform necessary procedures as per physician orders.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery processes, and health maintenance.
• Participate in patient rounds, interdisciplinary meetings, and ongoing education initiatives.
• Support patient transitions within the continuum of care, including discharge planning and coordination with other care providers.

• Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care in a progressive care unit/intermediate care unit (PCU/IMC/Stepdown).
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
