Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, NH is seeking a Progressive Care RN for the 4-West unit. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent and adult patients requiring enhanced monitoring and support outside the ICU.

Responsibilities include assessing and implementing priority-based care, integrating best practices and evidence, engaging patients and families in the care plan, and collaborating with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN from an accredited program.
• Registered Nurse licensed in NH.
• 2+ years of progressive care/critical care RN experience preferred.
• 2+ years of RN cardiac telemetry experience required.

About the Job:

As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the 4‑West Progressive Care RN provides comprehensive and compassionate nursing care to adolescent and adult patients requiring enhanced monitoring and support above medical‑surgical level but whose condition does not warrant care in the Intensive Care Unit.

What You'll Do:

• Assess and implement priority‑based nursing care and establish goals to meet the patient’s needs.
• Integrate patient values, best practice, and evidence into patient care.
• Engage patients and/or families in the care delivery.
• Function competently within own scope of practice.
• Utilize a communication style/practice to meet the needs of the team and/or the situation.

Who You Are:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN)
• Registered Nurse, licensed in the state of NH
• 2+ years of progressive care/critical care RN experience preferred
• 2+ years of RN cardiac telemetry experience required
