Job summary

PAM Health Dallas is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our brand-new rehabilitation hospital opening this fall. The RN will deliver, direct, and supervise patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with the care team to plan and discharge patients, and provide post-hospitalization teaching.

Education requirements include RN licensure in the appropriate state, BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS for Charge Nurses must be current.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate and provide patient care, including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning, as well as post-hospitalization teaching.
• Access community resources as needed.
• May perform additional duties including serving as Charge Nurse (ACLS required).

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process while delivering, directing and supervising care to patients admitted to the nursing unit. The Registered Nurse plans, coordinates, and provides patient care to include interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. May perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including Charge Nurse (ACLS certification required).

Qualifications

Education and Training: Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates. Current BLS certification is required. Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment. BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment. Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Experience: One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.
