Position Goal:

To effectively manage the care of patients using knowledge, clinical skills, judgment and decision making skills for the specific clinic.

Position Responsibilities:

• Delivers exceptional patient care utilizing guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment.
• Reviews, evaluates and takes appropriate action regarding results of diagnostic tests. Administers medications according to appropriate policy.
• Assists with patient care activities as required
• Position requires regular phone calls to advise/educate. Assists with treatment plan/education as necessary. Re-directs as necessary.
• Makes appropriate documentation entries in medical management system/EMR.

Experience:

Must have one (1) year orthopedic nursing experience.

Education:

• Basic education necessary for Nursing license required.
• BSN preferred.

Special Qualifications:

• Must have TN state RN nursing license.
• Must maintain BLS certification at all times.
• Must comply with HIPAA requirements at all times.
• Must have knowledge of the healthcare field and medical specialty.
• This position requires travel to and from satellite clinics as assigned so will require a valid driver’s license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record upon hire (MVR will be screened on an annual basis.)
