Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to support patient care at CHE - Chester Nursing Home. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to educate patients and families and help patients toward independence through realistic goals and treatment plans.

This as-needed position requires flexibility: you must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, with hours varying by unit demand. An SC RN license and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Job Description

Registered nurses (RNs) are responsible for providing safe, competent patient care, educating patients and their families about health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their families.

PRN Status Clause: This is a PRN as-needed position, you must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. You may be required to work additional hours if requested by your supervisor to accomplish work objectives. Work hours may vary (increase or decrease) depending on the needs of the unit.
