Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Akron is a critical illness recovery hospital providing post-ICU care for chronically ill patients. We are hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) for PRN/per diem shifts, with both day and night availability.

Compensation is $47.00 per hour, and we offer orientation and growth opportunities within a nationwide team. Join a dedicated team delivering compassionate care to chronically ill patients.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS required at hire.
• ACLS required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
