Job summary

Tradition Homecare - NY is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide private duty nursing care for individual clients in a home setting. This role offers one-to-one care, flexibility, and independent work with a focus on high-quality nursing services.

Responsibilities include administering medications, performing skilled nursing tasks such as G-tube feeding and IV care, and supporting patients during advanced illness or end-of-life care.

Qualifications

• Active New York State RN license is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing experience required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and sound judgement are expected.
• Professional, dependable, and patient-focused bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient condition.
• Provide skilled nursing care, including:
• G-tube feeding
• Wound care
• IV/PICC line management and infusion therapies
• Assist with mobility and transfers, including mechanical lifts when required
• Provide support during advanced illness or end-of-life care when applicable
• Document care accurately and communicate with care coordinators and family members as needed

POSITION OVERVIEW

• $70-$100 per hour, based on experience and clinical requirements
