Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a skilled Pre/Post Op Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team Full Time. The shift is 5:30a-6p and requires New Jersey RN licensure, along with ACLS/BLS certifications and a BSN or equivalent education. This role is based at PMPH/Penn Medicine in New Jersey.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide perioperative care, educate patients and families, and ensure safe outcomes throughout the surgical pathway.

Qualifications

• ACLS/BLS certifications required.
• RN license (NJ) required.
• BSN or equivalent degree required/in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pre/Post-Operative nursing care across perioperative pathways.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical teams to deliver safe patient care.
• Educate patients and families about perioperative processes and recovery steps.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

Shift: 5:30a-6p

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)

Education or Equivalent Experience:

• Bachelor of Arts or Science (Required)
• Education Specialization: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing or in pursuit of a BSN Equivalent Experience:
• And Greater than 15 months professional nursing experience.
• Associate of Arts or Science (Required)
• Education Specialization: Equivalent Experience:
• And 5+ years Clinical experience in a clinical specialty may be considered.

Salary Range:

$49.96 - $68.99/Hourly
