The Swan Center For Plastic Surgery in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join the Pre-Op, PACU, and Operating Room teams. This full-time role offers working with top surgeons in a state-of-the-art facility and exposure to premier cosmetic procedures.

Candidates must hold a Georgia RN license, have at least 2 years of nursing experience, BLS and ACLS, and strong communication skills to support patients through surgical journeys.

Qualificações

• Current RN license in Georgia is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in plastic or cosmetic surgery is a plus but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-quality care in Pre-Op, PACU, and OR settings for plastic surgery procedures.
• Conduct pre-op assessments and review medical histories to ensure patient readiness.
• Assist anesthesiologists and surgeons by preparing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and monitoring patients.
• Monitor patients in PACU, manage pain and vital signs, and support smooth recovery.
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with the healthcare team.

We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide care across the Pre-Operative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and Operating Room settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Pre-Op, PACU, and OR settings for a variety of plastic surgery procedures.
• Prepare patients for surgery by conducting pre-op assessments, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring patient readiness.
• Assist anesthesiologists and surgeons during surgery by preparing surgical instruments, ensuring a sterile environment, and monitoring patients throughout procedures.
• Monitor patients in PACU post-surgery, managing pain, vital signs, and ensuring a smooth recovery.
• Educate patients and families about pre- and post-operative care.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a seamless surgical experience.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including prolonged standing and walking, frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive movements, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to assist with patient positioning, transfers, and mobility support during pre-op, surgical, and recovery phases, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to lift and move objects and equipment weighing up to 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to remain alert and responsive during extended shifts, including maintaining focus during surgical procedures and patient monitoring, with or without reasonable accommodation.
