Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for day shift in a full-time outpatient setting. The role focuses on coordinating and delivering safe, quality nursing care using the nursing process across assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

The position requires RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Outpatient/ambulatory and chemotherapy experience are preferred, and the incumbent will participate in organizing patient care activities and leadership duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nurse Program.
• Outpatient/Ambulatory experience preferred.
• Chemotherapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide safe, quality care using nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Assess physical, psychosocial, educational, and growth needs of patients.
• Develop written plans of care from assessment data.
• Implement nursing care plans and evaluate responses.
• Demonstrate leadership and assist in organizing patient care activities.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse, using critical thinking skills, coordinates and provides safe, quality care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Assists with organizing patient care activities as assigned.
• Assesses physical, psychosocial, educational and growth and development needs of the patient.
• Develops a written plan of care using assessment data.
• Implements nursing care plan.
• Evaluates patient's response to interventions.
• Demonstrates leadership skills

Education

• Graduate of Registered Nurse Program
