MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West. The role features a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule with 12-hour shifts (7a-7p/7p-7a) and rotating weekends/holidays to support patient care in a high-acuity setting.
You will work with PCNAs, interns, and providers, using advanced monitoring and procedures to care for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. New grads welcome with attainment of required certifications.
Bi-Weekly Hours: 72.00 (Full Time)
Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays
Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience; $5,000 for New Graduate RNs
All Critical Care units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and continuous telemetry monitoring. The Critical Care Step-Down (CCSD) team staffs the Cardiac Hospitalist Unit. As a medical-surgical unit, the nurse-to-patient ratio of 5:1.
