Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license or Multistate RN License with NJ endorsement in good standing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification and ACLS within six months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred; graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required.
• Med/Surg and/or Telemetry nursing experience preferred; certifications MEDSURG-BC, PCCN, CMSRN are a plus.
• Experience with EMR systems (EPIC) is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and respond to clinical changes.
• Administer medications and provide hands-on nursing care based on clinical judgment.

Located in Belleville, Clara Maass Medical Center is a facility of RWJBarnabas Health and provides a complete continuum of care to residents of northern New Jersey. With over 700 physicians and 2,100 employees, we offer advanced treatment for a wide variety of medical conditions. Our facility includes centers for advanced wound care, sleep disorders, bariatrics, orthopedics cardiac services, cancer care, emergency services, and more. In 2017, the Medical Center completed a state‑of‑the‑art campus expansion featuring a new four‑story 87,000 square foot building with a private, 32‑bed Intensive Care Unit, new Main Entrance and Lobby, Retail Pharmacy, Patient Registration Area and newly expanded Emergency Department.

To be considered for this RN opportunity, you must hold an active New Jersey Registered Nurse license or Multistate RN License with NJ Endorsement in good standing and current American Heart Association BLS certification as well as ACLS certification within six (6) months of hire. In this position, you will work 7a-7:30p. This position requires every other weekend and holiday required. Schedule during the week will vary depending on department needs.
