Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Float Pool Level III. The role focuses on bedside assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation of care, with electronic documentation and delegation to non-licensed staff.

You will also precept or mentor students and fellow staff while supporting unit quality initiatives and collaborative care planning with the interdisciplinary team. The position is per diem with night shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• 1 year of experience in relevant clinical area (ICU).
• Current Maryland State nursing license.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by specialty area.

As such, you are eligible for medical and prescription insurance coverage under the Base Plan, only. This medical plan is in compliance with the Affordable Care Act.
