Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Wheeling is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem night shifts (6pm–6:30am) at Wheeling Hospital. You will evaluate admissions, perform patient assessments, document accurately, and respond to rapid events while providing compassionate care.

Offering $46.00 per hour with night/weekend differentials and a $5,000 sign-on bonus, this role supports career growth through orientation and potential full-time opportunities within a nationwide team of over 44,000

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
• Performs other duties as assigned

Location: Select Specialty Hospital - Wheeling (located inside Wheeling Hospital, 2nd floor)

Schedule: Per Diem/ PRN,6pm - 6:30am, Night Shift

Compensation: $46.00 per hour, plus competitive shift differentials for nights and weekends

Sign-on bonus: $5,000
