Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Lake Worth, TX, is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN). This PRN role includes both day and night shifts, with a sign-on bonus of $2,500. The RN will be responsible for conducting patient assessments, maintaining documentation, and ensuring accurate medical orders. Candidates must hold a valid RN license, with BLS and ACLS certifications required. A minimum of 2 years of hospital experience is preferred. Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document timely and accurately using appropriate systems.
• Interpret diagnostic data, including labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Participate in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit

• Competence in Rapid Response and code events

• Not accepting New Graduate nurses at this time
