Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital – Phoenix is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN, per diem night shift in Phoenix, AZ. The role includes admitting/transfers, patient assessments, documentation in EPIC, and patient/family education.

Minimum qualifications include an active RN license, BLS and ACLS at hire, with preferred BSN or enrollment and clinical experience. Part-time/per diem with potential for advancement.

• At least one year of RN experience
• BLS required at hire
• ACLS is required at hire

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment
• Timely and accurate documentation usingEPIC
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately
• Instruct and counsel patients/families
