Job summary

MiraVista is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts to join a cohesive and compassionate team dedicated to patient-centered care. This is an opportunity to grow within a young, expanding organization while supporting patients, families, and guardians.

You will assess and monitor patients, apply the nursing process, and participate in a multidisciplinary treatment plan. A MA RN license and CPR are required; BSN is preferred and experience in behavioral health is valued.

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts required.
• A graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of behavioral health and substance use disorders treatment modalities.
• Understanding of the Trauma-Informed Recovery model of care.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Previous experience is preferred in psychiatric, or substance use disorders inpatient, restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention.
• Crisis management and time management skills; able to multi-task and stay calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Be an active participant in the health care team providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
• Assess patients' physical and psychological condition on an ongoing basis throughout the continuum of care.
• Utilize the nursing process in alignment with MiraVista’s philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu grounded in MiraVista's core values.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team and contribute to each patient’s treatment plan by helping develop, implement, and document goals and interventions.

The Registered Nurse (RN) will have the following:

• Crisis management and time management skills; and exhibit flexibility, creativity, be able to multi-task, and ability to manage stressful situations in a calm, organized and professional manner.

Pay Range

Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience.

$43.33 - $59.98
