Saint Francis Healthcare System in Missouri is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver individualized, age-appropriate patient care under the supervision of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director and VP of Patient Care. The role covers neonates to adults in alignment with Missouri nursing standards and the Nurse Practice Act.

This full-time position features a 12-hour day shift, with a 72-hour biweekly schedule, including weekend work and one additional weekday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program is required.
• BSN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate patient care under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and VP of Patient Care.
• Care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients per nursing standards and Missouri Nurse Practice Act.
• Able to collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the Charge Nurse, Patient Care Manager, Director, and Vice President of Patient Care, the Registered Nurse administers individualized age-appropriate patient care to the neonate, pediatric, adolescent, geriatric and adult patient according to the established nursing standards and Nurse Practice Act of Missouri.

Job Details And Requirements

Type: Full Time (72 hours per 2 week pay period, with benefits)

Typical Hours: Day Shift, 12 hours/shift, Saturday-Sunday and 1 weekday

Education

• Graduate of an approved professional nursing program- required
• BSN- preferred

Certification & Licensures

• Licensed to practice as a RN in the State of Missouri- required
• BLS- required upon hire
• PALS and NRP- required within 90 days of hire

Experience

• Experience consistent with the Professional Advancement Program
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Able to collaborate with the healthcare team
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required
