Job description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) specialized in pediatrics and operating room (OR) care for a PRN position in a pediatric acute care hospital.

• Responsibilities include: providing nursing care to pediatric patients in the OR, conducting assessments, implementing interventions to ensure patient safety during surgery, assisting physicians, and maintaining continuity of care between the operating room and patient care units.
• Qualifications: minimum 2 years OR experience in pediatrics, Ohio RN license, BSN or in progress, current BLS and ACLS certifications, American Heart Association certification, and ability to pass background screening. CNOR and experience in pediatric acute care, plastic reconstructive surgery, or laser procedures are highly preferred.
• Skills include: strong patient assessment, critical thinking, and ability to work flexibly in varying shifts. Prior OR experience and pediatric specialty knowledge are advantageous.
