Job summary

ECU Health is seeking an outpatient Staff Nurse in Greenville, NC to provide clinical care and collaborate with the Department of Surgery. You will support partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes and apply growth/development principles across patient lifespans.

The role requires BLS and an NC RN license, with strong verbal and written communication. Work is 40 hours weekly, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with occasional outreach in Richlands, NC. No nights, weekends, or on-call duties.

• Current RN license for North Carolina.
• BLS certification.
• Competent nursing practice and basic computer skills.

Position Summary

• The Staff Nurse demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide clinical care and supervise department partnerships to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• The Staff Nurse demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life-span, and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information required to identify needs of the patient relative to his/her age and condition.

Minimum Requirements

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
• Current license as a RN in the state of North Carolina.
• Demonstrates competencies in nursing practice.
• Basic computer skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay Range

• Staff Nurse (outpatient) hourly range > $30.00 - $43.73
• Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.

Other Information

• Location/Department: ECU Department of Surgery (outpatient) - Greenville, NC
• This position is full-time (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with travel to Richlands, NC one Friday per month for outreach clinic
