An Assisted Living Community in St. John, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for part-time night shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Responsibilities include providing nursing care, administering medications, and supporting the Certified Nursing Assistants team. Candidates must be a Registered Nurse in Indiana and complete a background check, among other requirements. A shift differential of $2.00 per hour is included.

Qualifications

  • Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Indiana.
  • Previous experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
  • Pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and complete the orientation program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to clients and manage activities of Certified Nursing Assistants.
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Provide education and guidance to clients and families on disease management.
  • Ensure adequate medical supplies are available.
  • Compile nursing report at the end of the shift.
  • Monitor vital signs according to treatment plan.

Park Place of St. John, an Assisted Living Community, located in St. John, IN is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) Part time from 10:00PM - 6:00AM. Park Place Health and Wellness is a member of the Providence Life Services family where we are committed to enhancing the lives of those we serve! Shift differential included at $2.00 per hour.

Shift Hours: 10:00PM - 6:00AM. Must be able to work every weekend. Shift differential included at $2.00 per hour.

Summary of essential job functions:
  • Responsible to provide direct nursing care to the clients and manage the day to day activities performed by the Certified Nursing Assistants working as a team.
  • Administers medications and treatments according to physician orders.
  • Provides education and guidance to clients and their families on disease process and management.
  • Ensure adequate medical supplies are available to meet the medical needs of the patients.
  • Receive and review nursing report at the beginning of the shift and compile nursing report at the end of the shift.
  • Monitor vital signs in accordance with the resident’s treatment plan.
