Job summary

Perry Green Valley Nursing Facility is seeking a Part-Time Weekend RN to join our growing team. The RN will work with supervising physicians to assess and monitor patient needs, ensure care is delivered per facility procedures, and administer medications.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, recording vitals, and educating patients and families on home health care strategies. CPR certification and OK RN license required.

Qualifications

• OK RN License required.
• Graduate from a licensed nursing program.
• Nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR (American Heart Association) certification.
• Access to reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ condition during every visit and track observations.
• Take and record measurements of vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, heart rate, etc.
• Administer medication as prescribed by the client’s physician.
• Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.
• Continuously educate clients, their families and other caretakers on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
• Provide palliative care as needed to keep the client comfortable.
• Make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the client’s quality of life.
• Listen to clients and be prepared to respond to concerns or requests.
