Care Initiatives is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) at Dubuque Specialty Care, a 84-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Dubuque, IA. Part-Time 1st & 2nd shifts: 6AM-2PM or 2PM-10PM.

Join a compassionate care team across more than 40 skilled nursing communities throughout Iowa. You will provide direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor residents, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to promote safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.
• Empathy, respect, and discretion in care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
