Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role is full-time with rotating shifts and on-call requirements, operating 5:00am–7:30pm.

RN provides patient-centered care, develops care plans, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. Requirements include ADN with BSN preferred and Virginia or compact state license in good standing.

• ADN required; BSN or higher preferred; VA or compact state license in good standing.
• Experienced nurse with a minimum of ICU/CCU or PACU experience.
• Minimum of 2 years acute or critical care experience in a Same Day Surgery Unit.

• Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic hospital setting.
• Assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and deliver treatments.
• Support patients and families with education and compassionate service; collaborate with interdisciplinary team; monitor progress and ensure safety.

Compensation

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.93 - $61.01 hourly.

Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
