Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, is seeking an experienced RN for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit to monitor surgical patients after anesthesia, ensuring readiness for next care steps, including inpatient admission or discharge home.

The successful candidate will have an accredited nursing program, an Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS (PALS within 6 months), and PACU/ED experience preferred. New grads are not eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS required at time of hire; PALS within 6 months.
• PACU/CCU/ED experience preferred.
• New grads are not currently being considered.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS required at time of hire and PALS required within 6 months after hire
• PACU, Critical Care, or ED experience strongly preferred.
• New grads are not currently being considered.
