Job summary

Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our fast-paced Gastroenterology Lab/Endoscopy. This full-time role features 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday (8am-6:30pm) with no nights, weekends, or on-call requirements. Our team cares for inpatients and outpatients, performing advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures on both adults and pediatrics.

Qualifications

• 1 year of PACU or Critical Care nursing experience.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced endoscopic and pulmonary procedures as part of the gastroenterology lab/endoscopy team.
• Collaborate with inpatients and outpatients on procedural care and post-procedure monitoring.

RN Endoscopy PACU Qualifications:

• Experience – 1 year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) nursing experience
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA
• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse
• Education:BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

RN Endoscopy PACU Preferred Qualifications:

• Two or more years’ experience in PACU, ICU or ED
