Job summary

Care Initiatives in Iowa is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time overnight shifts (6 PM–6 AM) across our skilled nursing communities. Join a compassionate team dedicated to quality resident care and regulatory compliance.

You will administer medications, monitor residents, collaborate with CNAs, LPNs and providers, and document care while upholding infection control and safety protocols. Competitive wage plus shift differentials and robust benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa (or activatable) and CPR certification.
• Strong commitment to empathy, respect and discretion.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
