Job summary

Lakewood Ranch Medical Center, a Universal Health Services facility, is seeking an Orthopedics Registered Nurse RN for a part-time day shift. You will provide patient-centered nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and support the healthcare team with leadership and service excellence.

Qualified candidates have an accredited RN program completion, Florida or Compact license, BLS, and relevant acute-care experience. ACLS/NRP/PALS/NIH/CPI requirements apply as noted for each unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS at time of hire.
• Current active Florida or Compact Nursing License.
• Prefer one year, full-time or 3 years, part-time experience in acute care setting.
• All Nursing Units require ACLS as of start date (new grads within 90 days).
• Women's Center requires NRP as of start date (inexperienced L&D nurses within 90 days).
• ICU/PCU requires NIH within 90 days of start date.
• ER requires PALS, CPI within 90 days of start date, NIH within 90 days of start date.
• PACU requires PALS as of start date (inexperienced PACU nurses within 90 days).
