Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within the orthopedics team. You will develop care plans, coordinate with physicians, educate patients and families, and ensure safe, evidence-based care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualified candidates will have an active RN license, 1–3 years of clinical experience, and the ability to work rotating shifts. A sign-on bonus and strong professional development opportunities are offered.

• Provide patient care and coordinate with physicians and other team members.

• Evaluate care against standards and modify plans as needed.
• Maintain a safe and compliant care environment, following infection control, medication, and legal protocols.
• Document patient care in records and maintain supply and equipment readiness.
• Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain required competence as directed by leadership.

Worker Type: Regular

Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends (United States of America)

Pay Range: $32.50 - $48.50 (actual rate dependent on experience)

Position Highlights: Eligible for a sign‑on bonus up to $15,000

Brief Overview: Provides nursing care by developing diagnoses, establishing care objectives, defining interventions, and supporting patients and families physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually. Maintains and re‑evaluates care plans as conditions change.
