The Registered Nurse (RN) Orthopedic Surgery Lead provides professional, individualized nursing care within an assigned unit, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

Assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety, and discharge planning domains; develop and implement patient-specific care plans; evaluate nursing practices for quality improvement; participate in hourly rounding; supervise and delegate tasks to healthcare staff; ensure safety and compliance with guidelines; and may assume shift leadership roles.

Qualifications & Skills

Must hold a nursing degree from an accredited school, valid RN license in Arizona, and relevant certifications such as CPR, ACLS, PALS, NRP, or specialized training as required. Preferred candidates have a BSN, at least one year of acute care experience, and certifications in specialty areas.
