Job summary

AdventHealth in Kansas seeks an experienced RN for orthopedic care on a part-time Day shift. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families, coordinating with the care team.

Required RN license and BLS; Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred; 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural and spiritual factors.

• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications and self-care.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate and improve patient care.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary
• .Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions

• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
