Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to join the OR team. This staff position is 36 hours per week, on 12-hour day shifts. Requires Florida RN licensure and a BSN or ASN with more than one year of experience in the OR; ambulatory/surgery center experience preferred; BLS/ACLS required; PALS preferred.

This role does not include holidays or weekend work. Join a leading, not-for-profit hospital with a large team and extensive clinical services

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
• BSN or ASN with greater than one year experience required.
• 1 year of Operating Room experience required.
• Ambulatory/ Outpatient Surgery Center experience preferred.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department or ICU preferred.
• BLS & ACLS required.
• PALS preferred.
• This position does not work holidays and weekends.
