Job summary

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in Crystal River, Florida. This staff position offers a 36-hour workweek with day shifts in a fast-paced surgical environment.

You will provide perioperative nursing care, adhere to hospital policies, document assessments, and support patient safety and quality initiatives under supervision of the OR leadership. Candidates must hold an ADN, valid FL RN license, BLS, and be prepared to collaborate with surgeons,

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing completed.
• License issued by Florida or a compact state.
• Currently registered as a nurse (RN).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers nursing care to patients in the OR under supervision and follows policies and guidelines.
• Plans and implements nursing care; documents assessments; communicates care plans.
• Ensures patient rights and participates in quality improvement initiatives.
