Charlotte Hungerford Hospital (10115).

This posting is for 4 8‑hour shifts per week with an on‑call rotation consisting of typically 1 overnight per week as well as a weekend on‑call rotation typically 1 weekend every 7‑8 weeks.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, documentation, and evaluation) to provide direct and indirect patient care based on assigned area(s), addressing the age‑appropriate needs of all patients.
  • Follow nursing department philosophies, policies, and procedures to develop unique education and care plans for each patient and provide appropriate education and support for family members.
  • Use judgment, knowledge, and understanding of patient and family needs when directing ancillary staff.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction (patient, family, physician, others), maintain patient confidentiality, and be sensitive to the age‑specific patient needs for comfort, privacy, and generalized care.
