Pay Rate: $42.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• At least 1 year OR experience
• Manages all the necessary care inside the surgery room
• Assists the team in maintaining and creating a comfortable, safe environment for the patient
• Serves as a liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, O.R. Manager, and staff
• Ensures all surgical team members perform in a unified effort
• Responsible for the smooth and uneventful intraoperative care
• Accurately anticipates needs of surgical team by timely availability of needed supplies and equipment
• Ensures patient safety through the utilization of accurate assessment, critical thinking, expert evaluation and skillful clinical judgment

Position Requirements

• Active RN license with the State of Louisiana
• Active AM 6A-3P

Credential Requirements (to be verified after interview)

• Active CPR or BLS Certification
• Active ACLS Certification
• Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
• Hep B
• MMR
• Varicella
