Job summary

Atrium Health Stanly in Albemarle, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in a fast-paced surgical setting. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

Prior OR experience is strongly preferred. Join a multidisciplinary team focused on patient safety, continuous improvement, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• One year of OR experience strongly preferred.

Our Operating Room delivers high-quality, patient-centered care for both pediatric and adult populations across a wide range of specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, ENT, pediatric dental, obstetrics and gynecology, gastroenterology, special infusions, and preadmission screenings.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• One year of previous Operating Room experience strongly preferred

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
