Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room (OR) on a full-time basis with a day shift. The role offers opportunities for overtime and to cover multiple shifts as needed.

The facility emphasizes professionalism, teamwork and patient-centered care, with cross-training and float options to meet staffing needs. Current Florida license and OR experience preferred are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one-year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• Previous OR experience preferred.
• AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (current upon hire).
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Support cross training and floating to meet facility needs.
• Performs on call duties as required and necessary.
