Job summary

MUSC Health in South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our operating room team. This hourly position supports safe patient care and collaborative perioperative services with standard 36 hours per week and a day shift. You will educate patients and families, monitor conditions, and participate in ongoing quality improvement.

• Shift Differentials To be eligible for shift differentials you must work 4 hours into the shift time to get the differentials (Monday - Thursday 3p – 11p = $4.50 per hour and 11p-7a = $4.75, Friday - Sunday 11p - 7a = $7.00 per hour, or Saturday – Sunday 7a – 3p = $6.00 per hour and 3p – 11p = $6.50 per hour)

Registered nurses (RNs) are responsible for providing safe, competent patient care, educating patients and their families about health conditions, and providing advice and emotional support to patients and their families.

License And Certifications

• Current South Carolina or compact state Registered Nurse license is required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification is preferred.
