Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Oncology-Bariatric team. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care, following the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.

You will work 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week, with weekends/holidays rotating, and expect additional training to provide chemotherapy after one year.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the practicing state.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association).
  • BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
  • Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure patient safety and positive patient experience.

We’re Looking For
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
