CharterCARE Roger Williams Medical Center seeks a Staff Registered Nurse for the Oncology unit. The RN will provide professional nursing care for a defined group of patients on a 7p-7a shift, with full-time regular hours consisting of 64-80 hours biweekly.

Qualified applicants should have completion of a nursing program and an active Rhode Island RN license with BLS certification; 1-2 years of nursing experience is preferred.

Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care for a defined group of patients according to the hospital's philosophy of patient care and standards of professional nursing practice. The registered nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for judgment and actions, maintains clinical competency and exercises informed judgment in delegating nursing care to others. The Registered Nurse promotes patient, family and staff learning.

Education: Completion of a nursing program along witha current Rhode Island nursing license. BLS certification.

Experience:1-2 years previous nursing experience preferred.
