Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Oncology Infusion Center. This part-time role (24 hours per week) runs Monday through Friday, day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm at the David M. Sindelar Cancer Center in St. Louis, MO.

You will assess patients, administer infusion therapies, monitor responses, and educate patients and families while collaborating with a multidisciplinary oncology team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current, valid RN license.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Position Details

Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Infusion Center - Mercy South

Location: David M. Sindelar Cancer Center - 10050 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128

Part-Time | 24 Hours/Week | Mon-Fri | Day Shift | 8:00am-4:30pm

What You'll Do

As an Infusion RN, you will:

• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion treatments
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration therapy, and other infusion medications
• Monitor patients closely for treatment responses and adverse reactions
• Access and maintain peripheral IVs, ports, and central lines
• Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and support staff to coordinate treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, symptom management, and ongoing care needs
• Review laboratory results and communicate significant findings to the care team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the electronic health record
• Maintain oncology treatment safety standards and infection prevention practices
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families throughout the treatment process

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Licensure

• Current, valid RN license

Certification

• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

• Previous experience is not required
