Job summary

Tenet Healthcare in San Antonio, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care and care coordination for a group of patients. Under minimal supervision, you will match patient needs with nursing competencies and complete established performance standards within the introductory period.

You should have a nursing degree from an accredited school, hold Texas RN licensure, and bring Med/Surg and oncology-related experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing school.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Med/Surg experience with completion of Basic Oncology Nursing and Cancer Chemotherapy Course for Oncology and Infusion Clinic.
• 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg and/or Oncology.
• Current Texas State RN license.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification preferred.
• Active BLS on hire; BLS within 60 days of hire.

• MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Med/Surg experience with completion of Basic Oncology Nursing and Cancer Chemotherapy Course for Oncology and Infusion Clinic.
• PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg and/or Oncology
• REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
• PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification
• REQUIRED CCOURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
