Job summary

MidState Medical Center in Meriden, CT, is actively hiring Oncology Registered Nurses for our oncology units with shifts around 0645-1915 three days per week and rotating weekends/holidays. We support an Oncology Nurse Residency and welcome student nurses and new graduates to apply.

Qualifications include a current CT RN license within 90 days, graduation from an accredited nursing school, BLS from the American Heart Association, ASN/BSN, and at least one year of recent acute care experience

Qualifications

• Current Connecticut RN license required within 90 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• ASN/BSN.
• One-year recent Acute Care RN experience preferred, however Graduate Nurses are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide oncology nursing care at the top of your license.
• Participate in Oncology Nurse Residency and ongoing education.
• Collaborate with care teams to deliver evidence-based oncology care.
