Springfield Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 3rd shift in Decatur, IL. You will care for oncology patients undergoing medical, surgical, or radiation treatment, and assist with IVs, transfusions and pain management.

The role emphasizes compassionate care, clinical excellence and ongoing learning, under Magnet hospital standards. A sign-on bonus up to $20,000 is available.

Qualifications

• Illinois RN license required, BLS/CPR per policy.
• Ability to position/transfer adult patients with coordination.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods and perform IV/medication tasks.

They will also assist in managing side effects of chemotherapy along with many IVs, nursing treatments, medication administration, chemotherapy, transfusions, trachs, pegs, drains, colostomies and pain management.
