Accolade Healthcare of Paxton on Pells is seeking a Nurse Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN) to lead and supervise nursing staff, promote patient care quality, and collaborate with physicians and a multi-disciplinary team in Paxton, IL.

The role requires an ADN or BSN and an active RN license in Illinois, with duties spanning patient care coordination, staff supervision, and adherence to standards of care. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

Responsibilities

• Identify patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and their support systems.
• Foster a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.
• Promote patient independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients, families, and friends about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Adhere to therapeutic standards and measure health outcomes against care goals and standards; make adjustments as needed.
• Resolve patient problems using multidisciplinary team strategies.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations; call for assistance as needed.
• Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies and medication storage and administration procedures.
• Assist nurses with medication carts and documentation and supervise the unit as needed.

Job Summary

As an Nurse Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' health. Your responsibilities include completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, and providing physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends. In this role, you will also supervise assigned team members and ensure accurate transcription and notification of new physician orders.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $90,000-$105,000 annually

As an Nurse Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities include:

• Identifying patient care requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual patients and their support systems.

• Fostering a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients and their families.

• Promoting patient independence by:

  • Establishing patient care goals.

  • Teaching patients, families, and friends about conditions, medications, and self-care skills.

  • Addressing any questions or concerns.

• Ensuring quality of care by:

  • Adhering to therapeutic standards.

  • Measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards.

  • Making or recommending necessary adjustments.

  • Following hospital and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care.

• Resolving patient problems and needs using multidisciplinary team strategies.

• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by:

  • Complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Calling for assistance from healthcare support personnel as needed.

• Protecting patients and employees by adhering to infection control policies, medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance regulations.

• Assisting nurses working with medication carts and on the unit with documentation, organization, and overall supervision.

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

To excel as an Nurse Supervisor, Registered Nurse (RN), you will need:

Required Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
