Job summary

Wellpath in Colorado seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a clinical setting. The role includes assessment, planning, medication administration, and education under the supervision of Charge Nurses. You will follow care plans, document using SOAP, and participate in team trainings.

Evening or night shift options and ongoing development opportunities are available. Ideal candidates are licensed RNs in good standing with at least one year of clinic experience, CPR certified,

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Minimum of one year clinic experience.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and plan individual treatment programs with the Charge Nurse.
  • Administer medications and assist with diagnostic tests or minor procedures.
  • Count controlled substances and ensure care follows policies and procedures.
  • Document nursing encounters using SOAP and attend mandatory meetings.
  • Communicate information to nursing staff, physicians and supervisors as needed.

How you make a difference

As a Registered Nurse(RN), your primary responsibilityis toprovidepatient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning,implementation,and evaluation.You will work under the supervision of Charge Nurse(s) to provide patient education and activities in accordance with your competencies and education.This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills to ensureoptimalpatient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assistin assessing and planning individual treatment programs, consulting with Charge Nurse(s) and otherstaffas necessary.

  • Implement medical plans by administering medications, obtaining diagnostic tests, andassistingwith medical or minor surgical procedures as needed.

  • Count controlled substances and implement clinical and technical aspects of carein accordance withestablished policies, procedures, and protocols.

  • Document nursing encounters using the SOAP form of charting as required by policy and attend mandatory staff meetings and training.

  • Communicate information to nursing staff, physician, health care unit supervisory personnel or otherstaffas necessary.

Additional Details

Additional $3 night and $2 weekend shift differentials ~~ Deadline to apply to this position is October 30th, 2026. Application deadline may be extended contingent upon applicants’ volume.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
  • Prefer a minimum of one (1) year clinic experience
Licenses/Certifications
  • Have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse within the state of employment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
