Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville NICU is seeking a skilled RN to provide and coordinate comprehensive neonatal care during 12-hour night shifts. You will collaborate with physicians, APPs, and interprofessional teams to ensure safety and high-quality outcomes for critically ill newborns.

Required are an accredited nursing program, an RN license, and BLS; NRP is recommended within 6 months of hire. This full-time position offers benefits and opportunities to grow in a nationally recognized health system.

Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU): Provides specialized nursing care for critically ill and premature newborns requiring advanced monitoring, respiratory support, and complex interventions. Nurses collaborate with neonatologists, APP's and interdisciplinary teams to deliver family-centered care in a high-acuity environment.

Expectations We’re Looking For:
  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Recommended within 6 months of hire or per local or site-specific policy of standard of care

  • As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
