Select Medical Rehabilitation Hospital at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a new graduate RN for a full-time night shift from 6pm to 6:30am. The role offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for rehabilitation patients across brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and other complex conditions.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program and valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• Flexibility to complete program requirements and schedule.

Compensation:

$36.41 per hour, plus shift differentials for nights and weekends

In collaboration with the physician and your preceptor, you will ensure implementation of the assessment plan, evaluation, and follow-up of the plan of care for the patient population.

• Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational and functional needs of the patients/families.
• Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a nursing care plan which contains problem identification, nursing diagnosis, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long term goals and discharge planning.
• Participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
• Assuring that documents in the medical record are complete, factual, accurate and timely.

Minimum Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS required at hire
• Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
