MRICU at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking a skilled RN to join a 24-bed adult ICU serving high-acuity patients.
You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practice, ensuring safety and high-quality outcomes. Required: at least 1 year of inpatient acute care RN experience, active RN license in Wisconsin, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
The Medical/Respiratory ICU at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center is a 24-bed adult intensive care unit caring for a high-acuity, critically ill patient population. Nurses work alongside a multidisciplinary team that includes Intensivists, Respiratory therapists, Pharmacists, consultative specialists, care management, and rehabilitation services. Ongoing support and education are available to help advance nursing practice through opportunities such as the Critical Care Academy, preceptorship, hands‑on training, certification support for CCRN, ACLS, NIHSS, CRRT, and continuous learning. MRICU is well known for having a highly engaged nursing team due to dedicated staff, exceptional leadership and a team desire to support nursing collaboration to build and strengthen the core critical care skills needed to care for complex patients. Candidates should have at least one year of adult inpatient acute care experience.
