Job summary

Care Initiatives is seeking licensed Registered Nurses (RNs) to fill mobile and flexible assignments across our 43 skilled nursing communities in Iowa. You can choose full-time or part-time hours and travel between facilities within your region.

As an AffiniCare RN, you’ll provide direct nursing care, administer medications, and support daily clinical operations with a flexible schedule and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa RN license.
• Active CPR certification.
• Twelve (12) months of verifiable RN experience.
• Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within your region.
• Must live within a reasonable driving distance from Care Initiatives communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical and regulatory standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.

What You’ll Do & Key Responsibilities

What It Takes
